The Blog that Noone Reads

The strangest thing happened to me this morning. I woke up before my alarm and looked at my phone. 7:59. One minute before I was supposed to get up. Not to bad. So, being that I still had a whole minute, I went back to sleep.

A little while later, I wake up again. Still no alarm. I look at my phone again. 7:59. What the hell? So I try to push buttons but the thing is completely frozen. I had to take out the battery to get it to reset.

The strangest part is this: I have my computer set to wake me up around 9:30 so if my phone doesn’t wake me, I won’t miss half the day. So I get up to see why my computer didn’t wake me up. Kernel Panic. My very first since I started using the Mac. But what really get’s me is, I can still see the clock on my computer screen and it’s also frozen at 7:59.

I wonder if I’m dead.

I’m going to be moving the web server to a new location this weekend. Actually, I’m moving it to a temporary location while I look for a new permanent location. Expect some outages here and there over the weekend as the server hardware will actually be in the back of my car for a while as I transport it.
